Blue Canyon Country Club’s Lakes Course, designed by Yoshikazu Kato and established in 1999, is an 18-hole, par 72 championship layout stretching 7,179 yards. The Lakes Course thoughtfully uses natural terrain shaped by former open-cast tin mining, featuring meandering creeks, water-filled canyons, and gentle jungle contours. The front nine winds through serene lakes and canyons, while the back nine plays around stands of mature rubber trees, providing diverse challenges and breathtaking scenery.

Accuracy off the tee is crucial at Blue Canyon Lakes, as many approach shots require crossing small creeks or canyons. Maintaining fairway position is essential to reach the greens in regulation and score well. The signature 18th hole is often hailed as one of Thailand’s best finishing holes. This long par-4 offers a risk-reward scenario where only long hitters can reach the green in two, while others should play conservatively to avoid the jungle-lined canyon protecting the green.

The course underwent a full renovation and upgrade in 2006, elevating its quality to match, if not surpass, the more famous Canyon Course at Blue Canyon. With fewer blind shots and a fairer test of golf, the Lakes Course offers an excellent experience for golfers of all skill levels.
